The Valley covers an area of 218 sq. miles where one can find centuries old
temples, stupas and unforgettable natural beauties in every steps. It has
three major ancient cities; Kathmandu (Kantipur), Patan (Lalitpur) and
Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) among many other small settlements endowed with many
cultural and social heritages. All these three cities boasts of their grand
courtyards, the unmatched beauty of its architecture grandeur of its
historical monuments, magnificent colors of festivities and ever welcoming

Weather
The climate of ranges from tropical in the low lands to arctic in higher
altitudes. Mostly rains at night, making the following days crispy clean and
fresh. Most of the northern belt of the Trans-Himalayan zone is
rain-shadowed and ideal for trekking.

Kathmandu Valley
The Kathmandu Valley, the capital, is the political, commercial and
cultural hub of Nepal. Kathmandu is an exotic and fascinating showcase of a
very rich culture, art and tradition. The valley, roughly oval bowl
measuring 24 km east-west and 19 km north-south, is encircled by a range of
green terraced hills and dotted by compact clusters of red tiled-roofed
houses. The valley embraces most of Nepal's ethnic groups, but Newars are
the indigenous inhabitants and the creators of the valley's splendid
civilization.

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of
827m from the sea level, the city is known as a center of adventure. The
enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful
lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan peaks. . So today the
city has not only become the starting point for most popular trekking and
rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of
nature.
Gorkha
Gorkha is the ancestral hometown of the Nepal's ruling royal family. A
brief visit on the way to or from Pokhara would provide more insights into
Nepal than one is likely to get at lakeside in Pokhara.
Lumbini
Situated at the Terai plains of the southern Nepal, Lumbini is the place
where Siddhartha Gautam, the Shakya Prince and the ultimate Buddha, the
Enlighten One, was born in 623 BC. The sacred place, marked by a stone
pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka of India in 249 BC, is listed as one of the
World Heritage Sites.
